Tucker’s CCS Speckled fires to a reddish-tan with dark specks, created by a small amount of granular manganese that causes a reduction effect as the specks bleed through the glazes. It’s a highly responsive clay for both throwing and handbuilding, trimming easily, and contains 8% fine grog. This clay reaches a reddish-tan with dark specks when fired to Cone 6.
